Vehicle Assemble Building
Once construction was completed in 1966, the Vehicle Assembly Building stood at 526 feet tall, 715 feet long and 518 feet wide. It is the largest single story building in the world and has been used to assemble the Saturn V rocket and all of the Space Shuttles were coupled to the solid rocket boosters and external fuel tanks in this building.
